Drawing attention to oneself
I've always struggled with self-promotion. It has forever been different when it comes to brands, products, other people. Those things are easy. Touting yourself as the best thing ever is difficult. I'm working on it, well, or at least to position myself as someone pretty great, someone with clever ideas who wants to work hard and help conjure/make/create/build awesome things.
I KNEAD A (FULLTIME) JOB. To make more dough. To prevent silly puns from being inflicted upon others. To work closely with others to conjure up and develop awesome creative campaigns. To have purpose and a small sense of belonging. To reduce the greater uncertainty attached to being a freelance—even if I do massively enjoy those projects (Money is nice). To advance career and personal growth. To follow, even roughly, a daily schedule. To bring coworkers baked goods at least once a week. #justhireme
