This is a compendium of Melinda Green's work experience. It may also be referred to as a resume or curriculum vitae.

Hi there (again). I'm Melinda. Now I am going to bullet out the reasons I am qualified to be doing what it is that I do, and why you should pay me to do them. Any questions? Please send me a note or stalk me on Twitter. I would love to hear from you.

UX Designer & Digital Strategist
March 2015–Present

  • I enhance the usability of consumer-facing mobile applications through user research, user interviews, user testing, and copy-focused UX design. (Typically under collaborative circumstances.)
  • I believe wireframes (Sketch) and functional prototypes (InVision) should driven by information architecture and avoid using lorem ipsum whenever humanly possible.
  • I work with cross-functional software teams to write user stories, design user interfaces, solidify brand strategy, creative direction, and product roadmaps. I enjoy launching new products (and product features).
  • I perform market research and competitive analysis to build content strategies. I mastermind and standardize tone of voice throughout all product messaging to ensure a seamless user experience at every point in the user’s journey.

Senior Content Strategist @ Intralinks (formerly docTrackr; acquired April 2014)

  • Acted as user experience and technical documentation lead for a proposed API site. While the direction of our experimental IL Lab group was shifted to other projects, my team's work guided the eventual deliverable—a well-constructed developers' portal designed to expand and support the Intralinks product suite.
  • Lead content strategy, keyword analysis, and crafted the tone of voice for the website redesign of a global SaaS specializing in secure-yet-collaborative document workspaces—making the complex facets of infosec more readily digestible.
  • Crafted the Information Rights Management (IRM by design™) brand and ‘story’ through whitepapers and blog posts.

Volunteer Work & Other Projects

Program Manager @ Boston Underground Film Festival

Alongside a small but devoted group of individuals, I help produce an amazing (and slightly twisted) independent film festival. It is a year-long process, culminating in 5 amazing days every March at the Brattle Theatre. This entails film selection & program curation, creative direction of promotional materials, event planning, writing reviews of films, hosting filmmakers about town — essentially anything that needs to get done.
